FAQ

Please find below the most important facts and questions for exhibitors and cooperation partners as well as for the BMW Motorrad Days 2019 application process.

Frequently asked questions.

  • Why should I be an exhibitor or cooperation partner at BMW Motorrad Days 2019?

BMW Motorrad Days is an established meeting point for motorcycling enthusiasts and fans of the BMW Motorrad brand from all over the world. An estimated 40,000 visitors from Germany and other countries will take part in the three-day event. BMW Motorrad Days therefore represents an excellent opportunity to present your company to an audience that is passionate about motorbikes and to sell related products.
  • How do I become an exhibitor?

Please complete the application form for exhibitors and cooperation partners in full and send it by email to bmd-exhibitors@gpj.com by 23 January 2019.
You will receive confirmation of receipt together with details of the expected exhibition fees (in case of acceptance as exhibitor) once the documents have arrived.
Please note that submitting an application does not entitle you to participate. Decisions regarding which exhibitors will participate in BMW Motorrad Days will most likely be made by March 2019. As soon as the selection of exhibitors has been agreed, you will receive notification of acceptance or rejection. Upon receipt of a positive response, you will receive comprehensive exhibitor guidelines together with details of the invoice amount due for tent rental, which must be settled on time. If the invoice amount is not transferred on time, the right to an exhibitor tent lapses and the available space will be awarded to another party.
Applicants who have been rejected can ask to be placed on a waiting list. In the event that an exhibitor decides not to participate at short notice, an alternative applicant on the waiting list will be given the opportunity to exhibit at BMW Motorrad Days instead.
  • How do I become a cooperation partner?

You can find information about cooperation opportunities here. Please complete the application form for exhibitors and cooperation partners in full and send it by email to bmd-exhibitors@gpj.com by 23 January 2019. You will receive confirmation of receipt together with details of cooperation opportunities once the documents have arrived. The organisation team will contact you regarding the specifics of these opportunities.
  • What constitutes a complete application?

A complete application consists of a completed application form for exhibitors and cooperation partners together with a stand concept containing details about the products you would like to exhibit as well as the stand size, design, and any relevant sketches or photos.

‚ Please also indicate your intention to include other companies, brands or co-exhibitors on your stand, if applicable.
  • What constitutes a stand concept?

Please let us know how you imagine the layout of your exhibitor tent. Which products would you like to promote? Will you sell the products on site? What equipment would you like to bring along? How would you like to design your tent? Please submit some sketches and photos as visual aids to support your application.
  • I’m interested, but I don’t know the correct exhibitor category for me or my company.

Please mark ‘Miscellaneous or other’ on the application form for exhibitors and cooperation partners. The organisation team will take a look at your application and assign you to an exhibitor category.
  • How much space will I have in my stand?

The standard exhibitor tent measures 5 × 5 m, not including a small area at the front. Cooperation partners may have more space depending on the selected package.
  • When is the deadline for applications?

The deadline for applications is 23 January 2019. We regret that applications received after this date cannot be taken into consideration.
  • What are the criteria for deciding for or against an applicant?

The organisation team will evaluate the documents submitted by all applicants based on certain criteria. A committee will then decide which exhibitors may take part in BMW Motorrad Days 2019.
Please note that it can take some time to review, evaluate and select applications.
  • When can I expect to receive notification of acceptance or rejection?

Application documents will be reviewed and evaluated after 23 January 2019, after which date a selection will be made. Please note that this process may take some time. We will do our best to provide you with feedback as quickly as possible, most likely by March 2019.
  • How much is the exhibition fee?

The standard fee for a 5 × 5 m exhibition tent for the duration of the event is EUR 2,350 plus VAT (19%). This amount includes assembly and dismantling as well as electricity costs and a header sign with your company name. Please note that the fee depends on factors such as your chosen stand size and the selected cooperation package. After submitting your application, we will send you some information about the likely fee for appearing at BMW Motorrad Days 2019.
  • I was an exhibitor last year or in a previous year. Is it safe to assume that I will be able to exhibit again in 2019?

Even if you have been an exhibitor in the past, it is not possible to guarantee your participation in 2019. Please apply for 2019 by sending a complete application form for exhibitors and cooperation partners to the organisation team together with all the necessary information.
